Welcome to GRID'2008!

The Third International Conference "Distributed Computing and Grid-technologies in Science and Education" will be held at the Laboratory of Information Technologies of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research on 30 June - 4 July, 2008 in Dubna. The second conference on this topic took place at the Laboratory of information technologies, JINR in June, 2006 (http://grid2006.jinr.ru/). The Conference is a unique one conducted in Russia on the issues relating to the use of Grid-technologies in various areas of science, education, industry and business. The Grid-technologies transform the technique of scientific research and start exerting influence upon the commercial and financial world. Special attention is expected to be focused on Grid-applications in science and education, in industry and business.

The Programme of the Conference includes plenary reports (30 mines), sectional reports and poster presentations.

Working languages - Russian and English.

Conference Venue

Dubna is a small quiet town located 130 km north from Moscow on the picturesque banks of the Volga River. There is a convenient railway and bus communication from Moscow to Dubna.

Accommodation of participants

The Conference participants are planned to stay at Dubna hotels. The hotel accommodation will be provided from June 29, 2008 in accordance with the list of conference attendees prepared by the Organizing Committee.
